Firstly, I want to thank everyone who has been using our online and secure messaging services, leaving us better able to support those that need us most during this time. This is making a big difference and is hugely appreciated.

Supporting our communities

We, like many, are extremely grateful for the work being undertaken by key workers, front line staff and the many charities providing much needed support at this time.

Many charities are dealing with unprecedented demand for their services, at a time when finances may be stretched, so it’s more important than ever that we continue to support them.

Recognising this, and as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our wider community, the Phoenix Group (the parent company of Standard Life Assurance Limited) have:

  • Donated £500,000 to Age UK’s Emergency Coronavirus Appeal
  • Donated a further £500,000 to charities supporting the communities local to our offices across the UK and Europe
  • Extended our ongoing support for four of the UK’s charity air ambulance services

In addition to this, we’ve made a donation to a “Covid-19 Support Fund” which has been set up by our industry to help support some of the people hardest hit by the crisis. The Fund is operating in partnership with the Charities Aid Foundation, and a network of partners, including the National Emergencies Trust, and aims to raise £100million.

And finally, we will never ask you to disclose any details by email. Should you receive an email asking for your personal or Standard Life account information, or asking you to login to a page that is not run by Standard Life, please contact us immediately.
