Anthony O'Brien

Anthony joined Standard Life in April 2021 as Head of Market Strategy. The Market Strategy team formulates baseline views on the macro environment and implications for Standard Life Asset Management investment strategies. 

Prior to joining Standard Life, Anthony was the European Rates was Currency Strategist at First Sentier Investors for five years for their global unconstrained fixed income funds. Preceding that, Anthony held various roles at Morgan Stanley for 18 years, including interest rate derivative trading and Co-Head of European Interest Rate Strategy.
