As part of our ongoing commitment to continually review and improve our investment offering, we’ve decided to close some Standard Life abrdn MyFolio solutions in our insured fund range later this year and into next year.

What’s changing? 

  • MyFolio Multi-Manager and MyFolio Core* insured funds will close across all products.
     
  • MyFolio Index** range will remain open on Life, Active Money Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) and Active Money Personal Pension (AMPP) products but will close across all other pension products. 

What does this mean for clients? 

For pension products, subject to the exceptions explained above, we’ll switch clients’ investments to one of the following:  

For Life products, we’ll switch client investments from MyFolio Multi-Manager and MyFolio Core into MyFolio Index. 

All investments will be matched to have similar investment objectives and risk profiles as clients’ MyFolio funds. We believe making these changes provides more opportunity for better investment outcomes.  

We’re writing to clients to communicate what these changes mean for them later this month.

* Up until 1 April 2025, the MyFolio Core range was known as the MyFolio Managed range. 

**MyFolio Index funds changed name on 11 July 2025, from MyFolio Market to MyFolio Index.
