What’s changing?

We’re making some changes to our fund description, which will allow our fund greater flexibility in how it aims to achieve its objective of providing long term growth.

The fund aims to provide long term growth mainly from the reinvestment of income generated by investing predominantly in Global Government Bonds, including those of the UK. The fund may also invest in Global Corporate Bonds and money market instruments such as Certificates of Deposits (CDs) and Floating Rate Notes (FRNs). The fund is actively managed and may invest directly or indirectly through other funds. The fund will aim to hedge at least 80% of non-Sterling assets back to Sterling. 
 
The value of investments within the fund can fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed – you may get back less than you pay in. 

The fund may use derivatives for the purposes of efficient portfolio management, reduction of risk or to meet its investment objective if this is permitted and appropriate. 

The Sterling value of overseas assets held in the fund that are not fully hedged back to Sterling may rise and fall as a result of exchange rate fluctuations

These funds will aim to hedge at least 95% of non-Sterling assets back to Sterling and are not restricted to a particular fund manager or investment strategy. They can be passively and/or actively managed and can change from time to time without notice, to ensure the Fund continues to meet its goal. 
 
The value of investments within the fund can fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed – you may get back less than was paid in. 

The fund may use derivatives for the purposes of efficient portfolio management, reduction of risk or to meet its investment objective if this is permitted and appropriate.
