A review has identified policies where Standard Life do not hold the required Anti Money Laundering (AML) documents to comply with regulatory requirements.

Throughout July, we will write to around 200 impacted policyholders, requesting that they send us identification and address verification either by post or email. We will issue one letter for each impacted bond, which will provide details of all clients under that bond, where we require AML evidence. Reminder letters will be issued in August and September, if we have not received a response.

You may not have any clients under your agency who are included in this client mailing. More information, such as a draft client letter and a list of clients at agency level, will be available, by request, through your local Distribution contact, in July.
