We’re proud to co-sponsor AKG’s latest report exploring how centralised retirement propositions (CRPs) are evolving as retirement advice becomes more structured, holistic and focused on long-term client outcomes.

The report shows how firms are moving beyond product-led planning towards broader frameworks that bring together income sustainability, tax, estate planning, inheritance and intergenerational wealth transfer.

Key insights include:

  • 42% of firms now use a formal CRPs or a consistent centralised retirement approach.
  • Retirement planning is becoming more holistic, with tax, estate planning and wealth transfer shaping proposition design.
  • 56% of advisers use cashflow modelling to assess income sustainability and support client decisions.
  • 61% combine drawdown with secure or guaranteed income, balancing flexibility with certainty.
