Tim Lord

Tim is Head of Climate Change at Phoenix Group, the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement group. Standard Life is part of Phoenix Group.

Tim leads on developing Phoenix’s strategy for delivering its ambitious net zero targets.

Prior to joining Phoenix, Tim spent almost 20 years working on climate, energy and industrial policy for the UK government. This included specialising in energy efficiency, electricity infrastructure, and most recently as director responsible for the UK government’s decarbonisation strategy. He’s also Senior Fellow for Net Zero at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
