Claire Altman

Claire Altman is the Managing Director of BPA & Individual Retirement. Previously Managing Director for Individual Retirement, Claire now oversees all client and intermediary engagement, sales and relationship management in relation to defined benefit solutions, including bulk purchase annuity deals, while continuing to oversee the Individual Retirement divisions.

Claire joined Standard Life in 2020 from Smart Pension where she was Chief Corporate Officer. She held a number of independent trustee Chair roles following a legal services career at Sackers. 

As MD Individual Retirement, she has championed innovation in retirement income, working with her teams to deliver products such as the Smoothed Managed Fund with Fidelity and Guaranteed Fixed-Term income.
