Community engagement

We use our time, skills, and resources to make a lasting difference. We work with schools, charities and community groups, creating opportunities for social mobility, alongside implementing initiatives in support of financial literacy and mental health.

Key programmes:

• Future in Finance: A digital careers platform offering tailored advice and mentoring for underrepresented groups, including carers.
• Discover Finance: Sector collaboration providing work experience and career-ready skills.
• Career Ready: Mentoring and internships for students from low socio-economic backgrounds.
• Work Experience Plus 1: Extending opportunities to those without professional networks.
• ELBA Boardmatch: Matching colleagues with trustee roles and delivering financial literacy workshops.

Every colleague receives three volunteering days annually. Our colleague heroes campaign celebrates colleagues who give their time, skills, knowledge and resources to make a positive and lasting difference to people within our communities and supporting or social impact initiative Caring for Carers.
