In March 2025, the House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee launched an inquiry called Preparing for an Ageing Society.
The inquiry is investigating the impact of ageing on the UK economy, the opportunities and challenges the Government needs to consider given the demographic trends, the policies necessary to adapt to this future and the broader behavioural changes that may be required.
Phoenix Insights submitted written evidence to the Committee's Call for Evidence, with a particular focus on the implications of an ageing society for the UK's workforce. You can download the written evidence we submitted here:
