Before you apply you will need

Details of your designated external bank/building society account (account name, account number and sort code).

This account will either be used to store the interest earned on your Bond, or to move money in and out of your Bond Plus Savings Account if you choose to set one up.

Apply online

Applying online should only take 10 minutes to complete.

You currently cannot apply online if:

• You are an existing Standard Life Cash Savings savings customer,
• You would like to open more than one Bond, or you want to open a Business Bond.

If any of these apply please call us instead.

Things you should know

• Once you have submitted your application, we will send you your Welcome Pack in the post within 3 working days.
• We reserve the right to decline the Bond application if funds are not received within 14 days of the initial application.
• No withdrawals will be allowed during the term of the Bond.
• Only one deposit will be accepted per Bond, although you can open more than one Bond (subject to availability and up to a maximum of £10,000,000).
