Before you apply you will need
- Details of your designated external bank/building society account (account name, number and sort code). You will use this to move money in and out of your savings account.
- If the savings account is to be in joint names, your designated account must also be in the same joint names.

Applying online should only take 10 minutes to complete.
You currently cannot apply online if:
- You are an existing Standard Life Cash Savings savings customer,
- You wish to open a Business Savings account, or
- You have an application pending with Standard Life Cash Savings.

Things you should know
- Once you have submitted your application, we will send you your Welcome Pack in the post within 3 working days.
- An account can be changed or closed, without penalty, up to 14 days after you receive your Terms and Conditions.
