(Consumer Friendly PPFM)

We produce consumer friendly booklets explaining how with profits investments are managed. We have called these documents Understanding With Profits. These documents may also be known as Consumer Friendly Principles and Practices of Financial Management or CFPPFM.

We produce Understanding With Profits booklets for seven different groups of products:

• Understanding With Profits 1 (pdf) covers all UK unitised and conventional with profits business in the Heritage With Profits Fund except that covered by Understanding With Profits booklets 2 - 6 detailed below;
• Understanding With Profits 2 (pdf) covers Stakeholder with profits business in the Heritage With Profits Fund (business starting before 10 July 2006);
• Understanding With Profits 2a (pdf) covers Stakeholder with profits business in the UK Smoothed Managed With Profits Fund (business starting after 9 July 2006);
• Understanding With Profits 3 (pdf) covers Group Death in Service and Group Permanent Health Insurance business;
• Understanding With Profits 4 (pdf) covers With Profits Pension Annuities;
• Understanding With Profits 5 (pdf) covers old style Trustee Investment Plans; and
• Understanding With Profits 6 (pdf) covers new style Trustee Investment Plans invested in the Pooled With Profits Fund.
