Wherever you have access to the internet - on your home computer or at the office - it’s easy to manage your finances online.

Safe and secure
Whenever you access your accounts we want you to have total peace of mind. That's why the security of our online service is stringently tested to guarantee your privacy.
Each time you log in, you'll be asked for your User ID and 3 random characters from your password. You will receive your password within 3 days of registering.
For business accounts, each person assigned to the account will have their own User ID and password.
In addition to your User ID and password, all Online Servicing customers are required to set up some security questions. These will be used to prove your identity whenever you reset your password online.
If you forget to log off, the system will automatically log off for you if you haven't used your mouse or keyboard after 10 minutes or more.
Online opening hours
Online servicing gives you the flexibility to manage your accounts when it suits you.
Our online hours vary between products:
- Life and Pension plans
Monday to Friday 7am - 12am
Saturday and Sunday 7am - 11pm
- Stocks and Shares ISA investments
Monday to Friday 7am - 12am
Saturday and Sunday 7am - 11pm
Standard Life Cash Savings and Mortgages – provided by Barclays:
- Mortgage accounts
Monday to Sunday 7am - 11pm
- Savings accounts
Monday to Sunday 5am - 2am
Our online servicing facility gives you the flexibility to manage your accounts at a time that suits you.

Pension Plans
If you have a pension plan with us, our online service will enable you to
- view what your plan is worth today
- view what your plan will be worth at retirement
- view how much you have paid
- view payment information
- update personal information.
Please note that online access is subject to availability for group occupational contracts.
Life policies
Our Life customers can use our online service to
- view your current value or surrender value
- view information under 'My Advisers'
- view payment information
- update personal information
- update your bank details and payment date.
Please note that online functionality may vary by plan type.
Savings accounts
We offer online servicing to both personal and business savers.
If you have a Direct Access Savings Account, a Notice Account, or a Cash ISA our online service will enable you to
- view your balance
- browse transactions
- make deposits and withdrawals
- set up or amend regular deposits
- transfer money between accounts in your plan
- view any pending transactions.
Customers who hold a Savings Bond with us can use our online service to
- view your balance
- browse transactions.
Mortgages
If you have a Standard Life mortgage, our online service will enable you to
- view your next payment date
- view the next monthly payment amount due
- view the current mortgage balance
- view the remaining term of mortgage
- transact on your Offset Reserve
- apply for a Cash Reserve drawdown
- add, remove, or amend overpayments
- request a credit re-assessment.
