  Online Services are for existing customers only. To register please fill out our registration form.
  
  Once the form has been completed we will then present you with a User ID and will send you a temporary password in the post.
  
  Your temporary password should arrive within 3 working days and you will be asked to change this password when you log in for the first time. The temporary password is valid for 90 days, so you will be asked to change this as soon as possible after receiving it.

  You need your own pension because the state pensions paid by the government aren't that generous.
  
  If you qualified for the full basic state pension (like most people who work full time from their late 20s)*, you would get £97.65 a week in 2010/11, which works out at just over £5,000 a year.
  
  Compare this to your salary now - and the increases you'd like in the future. This is why you need your own pension.
  
  (You may also be entitled to an additional State Pension, which depends on your income. Pension Credit may also be available. The rules for these are complex - you can find out more at Directgov.)

• How much can I pay into a stocks and shares ISA during this tax year?

  "How much can I pay into a stocks and shares ISA during this tax year?"

  For the 2011-12 tax year, you can invest up to £10,680 in a Stocks and Shares ISA. Your spouse or civil partner can invest the same, giving you a potential joint investment of £21,360.
  
  Remember this limit is reduced by any amount you pay into a Cash ISA. The maximum Stocks and Shares ISA subscription allowance will increase to £11,280 for the 2012-13 tax year. These limits may be subject to change.
